Mirtos - a traditional Greek village

Mirtos is a very attractive traditional Greek village located within Crete, at about 15 from Ierapetra. This town is considered the most southern city in all Europe and has a steady amount of inhabitants of about 700, although the amount of people in the town tends to increase during summer. There is a wide amount of activities available for tourists in this destination in such a way that, despite of its small size and apparent tranquility, they could find many exciting things to do.

Among the most appealing characteristics of Mirtos there is its inhabitants and traditions. Besides this, those tourists who wish to spend energies and practice exciting activities could also rent pedal boats, surf boards, and catamarans if they wish to enjoy the water, or rent bikes to explore the area following any path they might desire.
